Sponsorship

Our #ChildSponsorship program provides a way for our sponsors to have a specific name and face to pray for as well as receive updates throughout the year.

Sponsorship not only helps provide for the basic needs of a specific child, but it also helps ensure that the child continues to be mentored, and has access to healthcare, nutrition, and quality education throughout the term.

Your generosity helps us reach out to more children in Uganda

Today you can choose to join the family of sponsors by emailing us at info@childrenreachout.org

International Literacy Day

#InternationalLiteracyDay
“reminds the international community of the importance of literacy for individuals, communities, and societies, and the need for intensified efforts towards more literate societies.”

Literacy is the ability to read, write, speak, and listen in a way that lets us communicate effectively and make sense of the world.

Let's teach children and make the country literate. Literacy is a bridge from misery to hope. The beautiful thing about learning is that no one can take it away from you.

Education is not the filling of pails, but the lighting of a fire.

Children Library

Yesterday we opened up  our community children's library together

We believe that introducing children to the joy of reading is integral to their overall success and happiness.

Poverty may make travel less likely for our community  children, but books have the power to open up entire new worlds and ideas.

More pragmatically, regular reading improves overall literacy, problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills.

Further, reading enhances creativity and imagination. The benefits of reading are truly unlimited.

We appreciate our partners for the efforts of making the children's library a reality #JivtibaFoundation #RainbowInternationalSchool #OldBooksForNewEyes

School Porridge Program

School Children Porridge Program aims to provide nutritious breakfast to children in schools. It not only helps to address hunger and malnutrition but also enhances the overall learning environment for the children.

The program is usually implemented in schools where children from low-income households attend. The program ensures that children receive at least one nutritious meal a day, which can supplement their diet and reduce their hunger levels.

Benefits of a School Porridge program include improved academic performance, increased school attendance, and decreased dropout rates. Moreover, the program helps improve children's health and nutrition, which leads to a reduction in morbidity and mortality rates.

Overall, a School Porridge program is an effective way to address hunger and malnutrition among children in low-income areas, contributing to their physical and cognitive development, and promoting their well-being.

Educational Tour

Yesterday our children toured AfriArt Gallery their tutors are so passionate about art and helping children develop an appreciation of culture. Gallery tours help children develop both a positive attitude to learning and help nurture the creativity that we passionately believe each child has.
The AfriArt Gallery Team specifically meets the needs of every child ensuring there is a mix of listening, interaction, and knowledge gathering. Above all, they want children to have an experience that shows them learning can be fun.  The team is so inspiring to our children!
