Children ReachOut Uganda’s approach to child protection begins with preventing abuse and violence against children whenever possible, especially before it begins. It is based on eight strongly held convictions, including:

No violence against children is justifiable.

Preventing violence against children is possible.

It’s everyone’s job to protect children.

Children Gala 2022

Children's Gala for Hope is an annual children's event on violence organized by Children Reachout Uganda and other like-minded organizations. The Children's Gala is where culture, religion, race, and tribe are respected and celebrated. Our humility is acknowledged as the thread that unites us with the children.

Orphan Sunday

#OrphanSunday is today we celebrate with Christian believers all over the world celebrate God's love in defense of the cause of orphans. It is also a call to us and our children to do the same.  2019, the best estimates show there are from 2 to 8 million children living in orphanages around the world, more than 150 million children who have lost one or both parents, and more than 1 billion children who experience serious abuse each year.

Research shows that children best develop and thrive in safe, stable, and nurturing families, with the greatest opportunity to reach their full potential. #WorldWithoutOrphans

While more children are in school today than ever before, many are missing out on learning basic skills like Reading & Writing once they get here at our center, Literacy Boost is helping to change that by creating a culture of reading and writing outside the classroom that dramatically improves children’s literacy development. #AfterSchoolProgram
