Children's Gala 2021

Younger children are especially at risk from violence as they're less able to speak up and seek support and it can cause irreversible damage to their development. Gender, Disability, Poverty or National or Ethnic origin are some of the risk factors that can place children at high risk of violence.

Keeping Girls Safe

#KeepingGirlsSafe With #SanitaryPads Covid19 Response

In Uganda just like in many African countries, #Mestruation is a very private matter that is rarely talked about in public. When a girl face obstacles in managing her menses in a healthy way, she is at risk for infection, her self-esteem and confidence suffer and she may even drop out of school overtime, these negative effects add up, preventing a young girl from achieving her full potential and having a healthy and productive life.

With your generosity of #5US$ which is #18000/=UGX one girl at risk will receive #2Packs of Sanitary Pads, #1Bra, #Soap and #1pair of underwear

You can Donate through our website for all Mobile Wallets

Children The Hidden Pandemic

ChildrenTheHiddenPandemic
Prepare safe and loving family based care support Covid19 severe illness and death is often alarmingly Swift-happening within weeks or just days after initial infection. This means that families have very little time in which to make alternative care arrangements for their children.

It is essential to ensure that children are not consigned to orphanages or children's homes but continue to be cared for within protective and nurturing families. There are key roles for gov't, NGOs, Faith Based Organization and Local Communities in identifying and supporting children at risk of losing family based care through death of a caregiver or other Covid19 impacts. Often local communities or faith networks have already organized themselves to help provide assistance to children who are most vulnerable, but they should be more effective if outside organizations provided additional support.

#ChildrenTheHiddenPandemic

#ChildrenTheHiddenPandemic Covid19 threatens children's current and future well.
The rapidity with which Covid19 can cause serious illness and death, leaves little time to prepare children for the trauma of bereavement. Children experiencing the unauticipated death of a caregiver often suffer psychosocial distress, mental health problems, and material hardship and, they are at increased risk of physical, emotional and sexual violence. Such consequences may be even more severe for children in reguee or other humanitarian settings. There adverse experience in turn increase their life-long risks of suicide, disease such as HIV/AIDS, adolescent pregnancy, cardiovascular diseases, cancer, and early death.

#children

#CEWWJ They have been born into a broken world and have been broken by it. As they grow up in this world, they may feel safe or afraid, loved or alone, hopeful or despairing.

Sadly, many don't know God's Love. #BUT Where ever they're and whoever they're with one thing is true.
God values and love them all!!! He was to heal their brokenness so they can begin to experience #wholeness in every dimension of their lives
