#TheChristmasExperience Children hold a special place in our Heart and this Christmas Experience is one of our favorite ways of reaching out to many children and their families in the invisible communities.
We always surprise them with Christmas goodies and gifts, So that they have a story to tell this Christmas.

Christmas is a wonderful time of year when we celebrate Faith, Family, Friends and the traditional of giving gifts and sending out Christmas greetings is an easy way to reach friends and family.
But also caring for people we don't know is another way of celebrating Christmas, it helps us appreciate the love in our lives we can often take for granted.

Access to education is one of the fundamental rights of every child which should be delivered in a conducive and safe learning environment. With the introduction of Universal Primary Education (UPE) and the Universal Secondary Education (USE), the Government of Uganda has greatly improved primary and secondary school enrolment for both girls and boys including those with disabilities. For these programmes to be effective, children need to access quality education and complete the education cycle in an environment free from violence. However, available research shows that violence against children in Uganda is widespread and occurs in almost all settings.

Violence against children in schools has adverse effects to children including undermining their right to access quality education. However, most cases of violence against children in schools go unreported.

Meet Peace
Peace joined our programs when she was young today she is one of the leaders we have in one of the communities we operate in.
Placing Biblical truths in the hands of a young person is a powerful act, and equipping them with the knowledge and tools to be leaders can initiate change for years to come. The Lead Today program combines scripture engagement with leadership insights from John. C Maxwell that help the next generation grow into their full potential.

Every week more than 200 children run to our centers.

Here, learning is made fun and stimulating.

Our centers are always filled with children of all ages mostly 1-5 joyfully chanting nursery rhymes, games as they learn to count in English, singing as they repeat the alphabet and memorizing shapes, colors while playing with homemade toys.

Most importantly learning how to write #EveryChildMatter

 

Schools Nutrition Program

This program runs in different community schools, When parents can't afford to feed their children, they have to work, beg or scavenge for food when they should be at school.

The provision of nutritious porridge meal once a day eliminate this problem entirely.

What's more a hungry child struggles to learn, concentrate in class.
The provision of nutritious porridge into schools has produced remarkable results.

Reading Tent

We had reading tent for children from the age of 2-10 in different communities with limited access to reading materials.

Our goal: we want to encourage children to read with pleasure and relaxation without being forced to read. 

Every Child should have the opportunity to learn how to read and to story telling because the reading as a culture can actually enrich children's views to life.
