Christmas is a wonderful time of the year when we celebrate faith, family and the tradition of giving gifts and Sending out Christmas greetings is an easy way to reach friends, family.
But also caring for people we don't know is an other way of celebrating Christmas, it help us appreciate the love in our lives we can often take for granted.
Friends this Christmas season we are at Nakumatt Entebbe receiving children gifts, as you do your shopping please don't for get to buy an extra gift for a community child.

Specific objectives of the gala 2016

1) Educate children the importance of reporting and responding of violence against children in schools.

2) Equip children in schools with tools to enable them report violence against children in schools to relevant authorities for appropriate action in conformity with the existing laws.

3) To prevent and respond to violence against children in schools through empowering children.

4) Support children to stop violence against them in schools.

5) Create awareness on violence against children in schools.

We glad to inform you that on 17/NOV/16 The 6^th annual children’s gala for hope 2016 is here once again Place at University Community Fellowship(UCF) –Makerere kikoni ,opposite garden courts hostels along sir Apollo kaggwa rd.

Children’s gala for hope 2016 is coordinated by Children Reachout Uganda and other children organizations and corporate companies that partner up to make the gala successful , this time we are expecting more than 600 children turning up for the gala ,children will be coming from all corners of Kampala.

Children’s gala is a one day workshop for children, mainly it’s all about learning and empowerment through different workshops that are organized. #MarkingChangeAgents.

THEME “Roles of children -Preventing interventions to stop violence against children in schools”

All this is going to be documented and shared to all our partners.

Thank you Nakumatt Uganda for the partnering with us and helping Children Reachout Uganda to send 100 children to school this year.
